A fresh home for Hydra News — built to last

🚀 A fresh home for Hydra News — built to last.
For years, we’ve relied heavily on Medium and X to share news, updates, and important information with our community.
That approach came with real limitations. Traffic went to third-party platforms instead of our own ecosystem, content could disappear whenever accounts were restricted or disabled, and there was little opportunity to connect our communication directly with Hydra’s internal systems.
That changes now.
We’re introducing a dedicated news section on the Hydra website — a communication platform we actually own and control.
Having our own home gives us much more freedom in how we communicate: richer formats, interactive visuals, integrated tools, live protocol data, and deeper connections between news, documentation, and the Hydra ecosystem itself.
The website now brings together key Hydra resources in one place, making it easier to follow the protocol, understand how it works, explore important information, and stay up to date — without depending on third-party publishing platforms.
And unlike Medium or social media, the possibilities don’t stop at articles. We can continuously build new tools, dashboards, visualizations, and live protocol integrations directly into the experience.
What to expect
Posts land here whenever there’s something worth saying:
- Protocol releases — new
hydragon-nodeversions, consensus forks, upgrade notes for validators. - Bridge — route additions, contract upgrades, status updates.
- Ecosystem launches — new dApps, tooling, and partnerships that have shipped.
- Treasury and governance — collateral movements, distributions, decisions.
- Deep-dives — how something works, why it was built that way, what the trade-offs are.
X and other social channels will still play an important role in reaching people — but the website is now the home of Hydra communication.
Discussion happens in the community channels linked from every post. For automated updates, subscribe via RSS.
We’re very happy to return to more active communication — this time with a format that gives us the freedom to do it properly.
Welcome to the new home of Hydra News. 🔥
